Full bandwidth downloads from D.A.W.N. are available in .wav
files (44.1khz and 48khz) as well as .mp4 (AAC), .mp3 and QuickTime
(utilizing the Qdesign Music Codec 2) at 44.1khz. Downloads are
also available in 22khz bandwidth in both .mp3 and QuickTime.
If you elect to download .mp4, .mp3 or QuickTime files, you may
convert to .wav or .aif with the Pro version of QuickTime 7.
Freeware alternatives include iTunes from Apple for both Windows
and MAC and Winamp from Nullsoft. |

The Dawn Music selection
is quite extensive in many ways. It has over 11,000 tracks
of music
available from less than thirty seconds to over five minutes
long. Genres ranging from aerobic to zydeco with plenty in
between.
It hasn't been easy accumulating this many cuts. Originally,
Repro-file was the bread and butter of Dawn Music's content
provider, CSS
Music. But since the introduction of Repro-file in 1982 other
libraries like Super Themes and Max Trax have brought a higher
quality sound with longer cuts. Sound effects appeared ten
years
ago and have become a mainstay product for professionals seeking

Simply put Dawn
Music is an online store providing music downloads with licensed
rights.
Since the product or service (depending how you look at it) involves
financial as well as legal transactions, there is a certain
responsibility
that must be kept by both the licensor and licensee. All financial
transactions are processed by a third party, Authorize.net.
Once
the licensee has provided all necessary billing information and
is properly billed, the licensee is provided with a download
page.
In addition, an email containing the license along with a URL
for resuming downloads. Sending a copy by email ensures legitimacy
on behalf of both parties. Meanwhile, Dawn Music has kept a log
of transactions and can provide any concerned licensee with
answers to any
billing questions. Finally, Dawn Music does not solicit nor endorse
third party marketers and will refrain from providing any
personal

concerned with copyright. All songs within the Dawn Music web
site are under copyright and published by CSS Music of Los
Angeles,
CA. The songs are affiliated with the public performance society,
Broadcast Music Inc. (except Project Platinum which is Mikeful
Music, ASCAP). Under the CSS standard License Agreement, Licensees
receive the mechanical,
synchroniztion
and public
performance
rights (with some restrictions) for 99 years. All D.A.W.N. music
and sound effects selections are watermarked with Verance's
Musicode
